iPhone Applications

So I've recently purchased an iPhone 3G in Japan and have begun downloading and playing with lot's of free and paid for apps from the App Store. Here are some of my favorites and recommendations:

Budget - $1.99
A excellent personal finance tool for tracking your ongoing monthly budgets, expenses, and income in addition to those sporadic expenditures made throughout the month. Provides savings report charts to view budgeting trends and allows export of data is exportable.

Remote - Free
Apple Remote rocks! Provides full control of your iTunes library from the iPhone over your WiFi network. Great when combined with AirTunes.

Units - Free
A completely free and completely awesome conversion tool with weight, energy, temperature, time, length, speed, pressure, power, data storage, volumetric flow, and currency!

Path Tracker - $0.99
Great fun and useful utility for mapping out your position, speed, and distance traveled on a Google Maps overlay. Love using this for bicycle rides.

Labyrinth LE - Free (Full version - $6.99)
Absolutely awesome game with the most simple concept. A virtual wooden box labyrinth with great physics and sound effects. Takes full advantage of the iPhone accelerometer to create a unique and interesting experience. Well worth the $6.99 for the full version!

Abacus - Free
It's just an abacus, which personally I still have no clue how to use, but it's great fun for the kids.

JirboMatch - Free
Great little matching game with cute fuzzy characters. Some slightly annoying banner ads up top, but overall well worth it. It's awesome for keeping kids entertained when they get impatient, especially in public places like restaurants or doctor's offices.
